The VI Alcantuna, meeting of Tunas organized by Sociedade Recreativa Alcantarilhense, is scheduled for the 4th of June, at Largo da Junta de Freguesia de Alcantarilha. The program starts at 17:00 and continues until the night, when the tunas take the stage.
The Alcantuna starts with an Arruada by the Banda Filarmónica Casa do Povo of Alcantarilha, Pêra and Armação de Pêra and, at 18:00, there will be an animated Campal Mass animated by the Group 587 of the National Scouts Corps (CNE).
Afterwards, musical entertainment begins with Miguel Garrana, with food and drinks available on site for those who wish to have a meal.
The performance of the tunas will start at 21 pm, with the presence of TunaBEBES (Tuna Mista UAlg, Portimão), by Feminis Ferventis (Tuna Académica Feminina da UAlg, Faro), of the Real Tuna Infantina (UAlg Mixed Academic Tuna, Faro) and Xelb Tuna (Tuna of the Jean-Piaget School of Health, Silves).
The initiative has the support of the Municipality of Silves.
