The village of Odeleite once again celebrated Labor Day yesterday, with the presence of hundreds of people. The music, the landscape surrounding the Ribeira de Odeleite, the exhibition of “Maios” and the contest “Aldeia Florida” were attractions for the participants.
The Chamber of Castro Marim says that «the hundreds of visitors who spent the day on the refreshing Odeleite stream were received with great animation and a range of activities to entertain the little ones, such as canoeing, slides and inflatables».
This was an initiative of the Social Association of the Parish of Odeleite, with the support of the Municipality of Castro Marim and of the Parish Council of Odeleite.
The program included the ball, by the duo “Ana e Edgar”, the performance of the Ethnographic Group “Amendoeiras em Flor” and, finally, on the main stage, the artist “Marcus”.
«The traditional menu of these celebrations, sardines and red wine, was enriched with stands selling local and regional sweets, to which were added local crafts», concludes the Municipality of Castro Marim.
