UCC national daysThe first National Conferences of the UCC in the Algarve, under the motto “What routes?”, will bring together, on April 14th and 15th, in the Municipal Auditorium of Lagoa, professionals from all over the country in a reflection and sharing of experiences of care practice in the community, its ambivalences and future perspectives.

Henrique Botelho and Manuel José Lopes, national coordinators for the Reform of the NHS, respectively, in the areas of Primary Health Care and Continuing Care, and Leonor Bota, regional coordinator of Integrated Continuing Care in the Algarve, are some of the guest speakers, who will intervene on the first day of the event.

Among the topics to be discussed in these two days, we highlight «UCC – From genesis to the present – ​​State of the Art», «National Integrated Continuous Care Network: What contributions?», «UCC Service Cards – National Reality», «School Health and Oral Health in UCC», «Burnout Syndrome – A challenge to the health of the health professional – forms of primary prevention», «Contracting, Indicators and Registration: What difficulties?», «Innovating in community intervention» and « UCC on the Road to the Future", "Early childhood in debate".

The opening session will be attended by the presidents of ARS do Algarve, João Moura Reis, the Municipality of Lagoa, Francisco Martins, and the Clinical and Health Council of ACES Algarve II – Barlavento, Ester Coelho.

These Conferences are organized by the Health Care Units in the Community of the Barlavento Health Centers Grouping (ACES), by the Regional Health Administration of the Algarve and by the Lagoa Council and will take place in the Municipal Auditorium of Lagoa.
