TOCA'ANDARFOTO3The village of Cachopo will once again show the riches and traditions of Serra do Caldeirão, on the 19th and 20th of March, in a new edition of «TocA'Andar». For two days, participants in the event will be encouraged to discover and explore, on foot or by bicycle, the interior of the municipality of Tavira, in activities designed for different audiences.

According to In Loco, one of the organizers of the event, «TocA'Andar» allows you to «enjoy the tranquility and tranquility characteristic of the region, as well as the landscapes, gastronomy, handicraft, folklore, geology and fauna and flora places'. And visitors can count on the «genuine simplicity of mountain hospitality», from the Cachopo community.

This initiative was launched in 2014, with the aim of showing «a genuine Algarve», making known «the reasons why this is an excellent destination for Ecotourism». In this way, activities were programmed that allow participants to explore this mountainous territory.

«TocA'Andar» is organized by the Parish Council of Cachopo, the Municipality of Tavira and the Associação In Loco, with the support of the Cachopo community. This is a «Puro Algarve» event.
