Maria Margarida Alves is the new Director of Social Security at the District Center of Faro

Maria Margarida Alves is the new director of the District Center of Faro Social Security, succeeding in the position of Ofélia Ramos.

To what Sul Informação found that the appointment under the replacement regime of the new head of the Social Security Institute in the Algarve has not yet been published by the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, but Maria Margarida Alves assumed her new duties on 20 March.

Maria Margarida Flores Gomes Martins Alves is a jurist, having held until now the functions of director of the Provisions and Contributions Unit of the District Center of Faro of the Social Security Institute.

Previously, she was coordinator of the Algarve Executive Process Section of the Social Security Financial Management Institute. She is considered an expert in Social Security work.

Ofélia Ramos, former director, was removed from office with effect from 20 March, by decision of the Ministry of Labor, as our newspaper reported. His dismissal order has not yet been published in the Diário da República.
