Ofélia Ramos will no longer be the Social Security Director of the District Center of Faro. The regional responsible for Social Security was informed this Friday by the minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security of the Government's decision to determine her cessation of functions, tomorrow, 20 March.
This is the most recent case of the removal of a leader of a decentralized State body in the Algarve, after the Government decided to replace the Regional Delegate of the IEFP and the Board of Directors of the Centro Hospitalar do Algarve.
The three situations are still quite different. In the case of the IEFP, the decision affected all the institute's directors, both the national director and the top directors in the different regions of the country. In the case of the CHA, the mandate of the previous administration ended in December and was not renewed. Ofélia Ramos, on the other hand, was still waiting for the competition to make her official in her position since December 2011.
To what Sul Informação found that the situation of Ofélia Ramos is repeated in other district centers, with the Government's decision having been similar in all cases. And the solution, in the future, should be similar to the one found for the IEFP, in which people from the house were nominated for the positions of regional director, with new competitions in the pipeline.
As explained by Ofélia Ramos, despite the recruitment for the positions of director of Social Security to be done "through a competitive procedure, applying the rules of recruitment and selection provided for the positions of higher management in the Statute of Managing Personnel", in her case, he was still in office by appointment.
In 2014, a competition was launched by the Commission for Recruitment and Selection for Public Administration (CReSAP), "which culminated in the decision to repeat the Opening Notice, due to the fact that three candidates with merit were not selected," explained Ofélia Ramos , in a message he sent to Social Security employees of Faro and posted it on your Facebook page.
In these situations, the law provides for the repetition of the tender procedure, which occurred on January 22, 2015.
«In the scope of this second tender procedure, three candidates were selected by CReSAP, having myself been notified on December 16, 2015, after all the selection tests, of which I had integrated the short list (shortlist) sent to the competent member of the Government for the purpose of appointment. So, it was with surprise that, on February 4, 2016, I was notified of the decision to cancel the competition”, by the guardianship, explained Ofélia Ramos.
