ETIC-Algarve once again promotes an Open Day on its premises, at the Municipal Market of Faro, to make itself known «to the restless and curious minds of the Algarve, and beyond», and publicize its training offer. During the 12th of March, several activities will be promoted, among which a «Creative Market», promoted by the class of the technical course of Event Production of this school based in Faro.
The highlight of this event is the opening of the school's doors to all who wanted to know it better. Between 14 pm and 18 pm, ETIC_Algarve makes known “what is done around here, in a school that wants to be different and in which creativity and innovation are encouraged, without any reservations”.
The big news of the 2016 edition will be «the possibility of testing the game prototypes that the Game Design course trainees have been developing during the first edition of this course at ETIC_Algarve», according to the school director Nuno Ribeiro.
But there will be a lot more to happen. Nuno Ribeiro highlights “a live talkshow, with the participation of the actor Mário Spencer, portrait photography sessions in which participants will be able to play the role of models and the presentation of a live act by the Electronic Music Production group”.
The proposed activities, promoted by different groups, «intend to show the community what trainees and trainers “make happen” in the areas of Photography, Video, Game Design, Sound & Music».
The 2nd edition of Mercado Criativo will be «a journey into the past, in which “the clocks and time will stop”». The trainees of the Event Production course will liven up the morning of regular users of the Municipal Market of Faro with various artistic presentations, which «in a harmonious way will recall the decades and the experiences of each person, thus satiating the nostalgia that lives in each one of us».
On this journey through time, which will take place between 10 am and 12:30 pm, dance, fado, harp and singing performances will be promoted, as well as a costume parade, «other surprises are also being prepared that promise to add even more life and color to the Municipal Market of Faro».
Entrance to this day «full of energy, dynamism, restlessness and creativity» is free and «you just need to bring a good mood and a great deal of curiosity».
