“The Maternal Booklet and the new learning methods” is the theme of a conversation/debate promoted by the Casa-Museu João de Deus, in São Bartolomeu de Messines, on March 11, at 21 pm.
The activity "aims to make known the different pedagogical methods taught today, as well as the method of the maternal booklet of João de Deus, in the year that marks the 140th anniversary of its 1st edition", explains the Chamber of Silves .
Sílvia Lourenço (SB1 School of SB Messines), Sandra Nunes (EB1 of Silves), Susete Candeias (Jardim Escola João de Deus) and Sara Serrão (Jardim Escola João de Deus), will present «various methods used in language teaching and will transmit their experiences, perspectives and applied pedagogies, especially focusing on the changes experienced in recent decades with regard to applied methodologies», adds the municipality.
This action is the result of a partnership between the Municipality of Silves (João de Deus House-Museum), the Jardim Escola João de Deus, the EB1 School of SB Messines and the EB1 School of Silves.
