Circuit 5 of the Minibus network of Faro Next will undergo changes. The Chamber approved adding to the current route (Health Center of Faro – CP Station – Municipal Market) the areas of Bom João and Alto de Santo António.
In addition, circulation changes from one to two directions, each with an alternating frequency of 20 minutes. According to the Chamber of Faro, "in this way, customers will be able to choose either direction depending on the distance of origin and destination of the trip".
Buses that serve Circuit 5 of the Network run from Monday to Friday, except holidays, from 07:30 am to 20:00 pm and from 20:00 pm to 22:00 pm.
The municipality of Faro considers that “since the new urban transport network of Faro, the improvements in the service provided to the population are evident. There is an increase in the temporal and spatial coverage of the lines and an improvement in the conditions of the fleet – more modern and environmentally friendly”.
On the other hand, «the new public bus terminal, on Avenida da República, has increased the conditions of comfort and functionality for all users», concludes the Chamber.
