The Ministry of Health will have already chosen the new administration of the Centro Hospitalar do Algarve. Joaquim Ramalho, current director of the Contracting Department at ARS Algarve, will, according to the Correio da Manhã advanced this Thursday, the successor of Pedro Nunes, and the replacement of the current administration should take place at the end of this month or at the beginning of the next.
The same newspaper added that "only the approval of the Commission for Recruitment and Selection for Public Administration (CReSAP) – where the list of names has already been sent – remains to be officially announced by Minister Adalberto Campos Fernandes."
The newspaper also says that, for the position of clinical director, Carlos Santos, a doctor at the Hospital do Barlavento, in Portimão, will be appointed, and that the nursing director will be chosen by Nuno Murcho, who is head nurse at the ARS.
The change should happen when Health Minister Adalberto Campos Fernandes comes to the Algarve, accompanied by Manuel Heitor, Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, to announce the creation of the Algarve Academic Health Community, which will bring together the CHA and the Universidade do Algarve, adds Correio da Manhã.
