The Horta Comunitária project is taking its first steps in Silves, and the Municipal Council, which promotes the initiative, has started drafting the regulations.
Anyone who wants to can present “the contributions they consider useful and relevant” to the local authority.
The regulation will define the rules for participation in the “Community Garden of Silves” project, through which land owned by the Municipality is made available to individuals.
The land will be divided into plots for individual use for the practice of horticulture or subsistence agricultural activity, through the use of techniques for the cultivation of biological products.
