Castro Marim City Council moves forward this week with the repaving of Rua Dr. José Alves Moreira, considered the main street of the county seat. The work will cost around 42 thousand euros.
The intervention aims to "create better mobility conditions and ensure better circulation conditions and road safety for motorists", says the municipality.
But not only the street, where the City Council is located, will be rehabilitated. With the same budget, the municipality added that it was going to repave the streets of Combatentes da Grande Guerra and 25 de Abril and refurbish Largo da República, “by creating a walking area and introducing rainwater drainage”.
