Vila do Bispo Council will start holding the Municipality Day party next Saturday, January 16th, and will only end at the end of the month.
The program includes a concert with Miguel Gameiro and the North Poles, at the Pavilhão Multiusos da Raposeira, on the municipal holiday, January 22, at 21 pm, and a performance by stand up comedy, with Eduardo Madeira, closing the Tribute to Athletes of the Municipality, on the 30th, at 21 pm, in the Barão de S. Miguel Party Hall.
Next Saturday, at 16 pm, the 17th Exhibition of Artists of the Municipality of Vila do Bispo will be inaugurated, which can be seen until the 7th of March, at the Interpretation Center of Vila do Bispo. One hour before this ceremony, the Eucharist will take place. Parish week, with performance by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia Musical Group, at Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes Chapel, at Salema Beach.
On Sunday, the Marcha Corrida de Sagres will take place, at 9:30 am, at the Clube Recreativo Infante de Sagres. At 15:XNUMX a protocol will be signed to hand over the building to Grupo Desportivo de Burgau.
The celebrations will continue on the following day, 18 January, with the holding of the seminar «Potentials of a Municipality – Vila do Bispo in a single day…», at 9:30 am, in the Auditorium of the Cultural Center of Vila do Bispo.
On January 22, the Municipality Day is celebrated, with a program that will have its high point with the performance of Miguel Gameiro. In the morning, the traditional official ceremonies take place, namely the Raising of the Flag (9:10 am, Largo do Município), the Solemn Session of the Municipal Assembly of Vila do Bispo (11:XNUMX am, Hall of the City Hall) and the Eucharist, followed by the procession from São Vicente (XNUMX hours, Igreja Matriz in Vila do Bispo).
The official ceremonies last until January 23, when the Vila do Bispo Town Hall's Noble Hall hosts a session where the School Achievement Awards – 2014/2015 school year will be awarded, honoring the municipality's employees who have retired during 2015 and signed a sponsorship contract with the athlete Joana Schenker.
