The School of Hospitality and Tourism, in Faro, will receive the second edition of the «Tourism Trade Show Algarve» on the 10th and 11th of December. This event, «unique in the region», will bring together entities, associations, entrepreneurs, with the same objective: «to reinforce the status of the Algarve as a reference tourist destination».

According to EHTA, «it is not easy to find all those who work to position the Algarve as a tourist destination of excellence in the same space. But that is the great asset of the «Tourism Trade Show Algarve – One Brand, One Destination».

The main objective of this event is to promote the relationship between the various players in the economic, social and cultural fabric of the region linked to tourism.

«In this space for meeting and sharing between the main players from the tourism sector, several dozen exhibitors will be present, including representatives of the Algarve Tourism Region, tourism and hotel associations, hotels, service companies, travel agencies, tour operators, Algarve Town Councils, schools and the University of the Algarve» , reveals the organization.

Among the novelties for this year is the stand «Opportunities». At this stand, accessible to exhibitors at the fair, «it is possible to contact finalist students and schedule interviews with them, thus bringing future professionals and potential employers together».

In parallel, will take place workshops, innovative projects, debates and seminars will be presented.

The organization highlights the lectures “Loulé creative tourism – an immersion in identity and sharing experiences”, by the Head of the Division of Culture and Heritage of the Municipality of Loulé, Dália Paulo, and “Is it possible to exceed customer expectations?”, by the consultant/trainer Selma Cazes, as well as the debate on "Sport Tourism", which will bring together some of the most important organizing entities of sporting events in the region.

The 2nd edition of the «Tourism Trade Show Algarve – One Brand, One Destination» has the support of RTA, ATA, ETIC_Algarve, Eurologistix, Sul Informação, Rede-T, Viveiros Monte Rosa, Clínica dos Tinteiros, Bols and Cerveja Moura.
