Albufeira will host «16 of the greatest national comedians» in the ten shows that make up the program of the Festival Solrir, which will be held at the Palácio de Congressos do Algarve, in Albufeira, from 1 to 4 January.
Aldo Lima, Diogo Faro, Herman José, Nilton, Pedro Sousa, Pedro Durão, Miguel Neves, Joel Rodrigues, Hugo Rosa and Eduardo Madeira are the names already confirmed and that promise «four nights of humor, all different and hilarious», according to Albufeira Town Council. This will be the 10th edition of the event, hence the bet on this "luxury poster".
Every day, there will be shows from 21 pm. On the first day of the year, January 30st, Pedro Sousa, Pedro Durão, Diogo take the stage Faro and Aldo Lima. On January 2nd, it will be Miguel Neves, Joel Rodrigues and Nilton's turn to make the public laugh. Hugo Rosa and Herman José take the stage on the 3rd and on the last day, January 4th, Eduardo Madeira invites the “Just Girls”, Mariana Sim-Sim, Soraia Carrega, Vanny Guerra, Maria Lázaro, Beatriz Peixoto and Joana Machado for « a stand-up show for women, which promises to be very special and unusual», which will close the program.
«Considered the largest comedy festival in the country, Solrir has been held since 2006 and has already had the participation of more than 200 national and international comedians», according to the Câmara de Albufeira, which highlighted that, in the last edition, more than 6 a thousand people watched Solrir.
Tickets for the different shows are on sale now and come in different modalities. A ticket for over 6s, for just one show, costs 10 euros, with families being able to purchase four tickets for 35 euros. For the same price, anyone can buy a ticket for the four days. Students and over 65 pay 9 euros per day.
Tickets can be purchased online, or in the Fnac, Worten, Media Markt, El Corte Inglés stores and on site, on show days, from 15 pm.
Solrir is an initiative of Press Happiness in collaboration with the municipality of Albufeira, and has the sponsorship of Caixa Agrícola and Nau Hotels & Resorts and the support of Turismo do Algarve, Apal and Adega do Cantor.
