backwaterThe Portuguese association Contramaré is celebrating its 21 years of existence. The celebrations began yesterday and continue today and tomorrow, at the Contramaré space, at Sociedade Vencedora Portimonense. Cinema, music and workshops are some of the activities that make up the program.

This afternoon, starting at 15 pm, there will be a screening of films by new directors from Portimão. “The Last Scissor Sharpener” and “Memoirs” will be the films shown.

From 17 pm onwards, music takes over at Espaço Contramaré with performances by Vasco Fortes, Heroin Holiday and Theodore Allen. At 00 pm, the concert by Daniel Catarino is scheduled.

For tomorrow, Sunday, at 11:00 am, there will be a workshop on Construction of Artisanal Games, guided by Alexandra Ramires, in an initiative for all ages.

In the afternoon, at 15:00 pm, a new workshop on dances from the world, guided by Mariana Correia.

The program of celebrations for the 21st anniversary of the association from Portimo ends after 17:00, when a Folk Ball is scheduled.
