The rehabilitation work of the structure of the Vale da Telha Reservoir, which will cost around 160 euros, has already started, the Aljezur City Council announced today.
According to the municipality, this is an infrastructure that came into operation at the end of 1999 and which «already presented some degree of degradation», as indicated by a diagnosis prepared by the Technical Services of the Municipality of Aljezur.
With this investment, the Municipality intends to «value and increase the useful life of this infrastructure, keeping it operational for its function at the service of the population».
The work has a maximum execution period set at 180 days.
