radio tableMarisa Matias, MEP and candidate for the Presidency of the Republic by the Left Bloc, and João Ferreira, elected by the PCP and also MEP from the Confederal group of the European Unitarian Left/Nordic Green Left, are the guests of the 2nd edition of Europhonica, the program that hosts University Radios from the Algarve (RUA) and Minho (RUM) are conducting live from the European Parliament in Strasbourg, tomorrow, Wednesday, 28 October.

It is the second Europhonica program, which brings to the conversation vital themes of European politics, not forgetting the current moment of national politics.

Highlights, in the conversation with João Ferreira, were the proposal for a “Program to support a negotiated exit from the Euro” and his report “Exploring the Potential of Research and Development in the Blue Economy to create Jobs and Growth”.

europhonicMarisa Matias, elected by the Left Bloc, is MEP for the same parliamentary group as João Ferreira and is also vice-president of TAXE – Special Committee on Anticipated Tax Decisions and Other Measures of a Similar Nature or Effects and member of the Committee on Economic Affairs and Monetary. “The Economic Policies of the European Union” is one of the central themes of the interview.
