More than 70 children took advantage of the leisure activities, during the summer holidays, provided by the City Council of São Brás de Alportel.
Between the 13th of July and the 28th of August, the municipal program «Fun Holidays» encouraged children from 5 to 11 years old with «lots of fun, socializing and new learning».
Reading and gastronomy workshops, plastic and dramatic expression, traditional games, visits to Municipal Swimming Pools and cultural tours were some of the proposed activities.
The Basic School of the municipality EB1 n.º2 was the central stage of the activities program and where, on August 28th, a mini closing party took place, during which the participants of the span and a half and the educators had the opportunity to watch a video recording the most memorable and lively moments of this vacation.
As part of this vacation program, the municipality of São Brasense also promoted another edition of the Sports Vacation, from June 22 to July 17, «an initiative that attracts more and more children and young people to weeks full of energy, allowing them to experience the most diverse sporting activities».
Here, children from São Paulo could enjoy human table football, adventure activities such as rappel or slide, surf lessons and other water sports, among other sports.
