António João Costa Gamboa, 54 years old, a CP machinist, returns to lead the PCTP/MRPP candidate list in the Algarve, in the Legislative Elections of 4 October.
António Gamboa is a member of the Central Committee, union delegate for the Algarve's train drivers from 1996 to 2015, with a break in the triennium 2001 to 2003 when he was a member of the board of SMAQ – National Union of Drivers, co-founder and promoter of the SMAQ-Algarve Sports Center , and also promoter of the National Meeting of Train Drivers in Praia da Rocha.
The number 2 on the list of the party led by Lisbon lawyer Garcia Pereira is António Terramoto, who was head of the MRPP list in the last Municipal Elections, in Olhão, and is also responsible for the Olhão Livre blog.
It also includes, as an alternate, the businessman Dâmaso do Nascimento, founder and manager of “Conservas Dâmaso” in Vila Real de Santo António, which has recovered the tradition of producing canned tuna, namely stupeta and muxama.
The list features seven people who are applying for the first time and three independents.

2 – ANTÓNIO MANUEL FERRO TERRAMOTO, 63 years old, separated, 3 children and 1 grandson, long-term unemployed, before a pharmacy assistant, lives in Olhão.
Head of the PCTP/MRPP list in the last municipal elections in Olhão.
He directs and is the main editor of the blog “Olhão Livre”, which promotes the defense of the Ria Formosa and all issues related to the sea.

3 – MARIA LUÍSA RAPOSO GUERREIRO DA SILVA, 54 years old, married, 2 children and 2 grandchildren, Senior Technician at CIAC – Municipal Consumer Information Center – of the Municipality of Tavira, graduated in Education, Social Pedagogy and Training, post- graduated in Consumer and Contract Law, lives in Tavira.
Member of the board of ATAI – Tavirense Association for Immigrant Support, member of the board and founder of ATPIC – Association of Professional Information and Consumer Technicians.
4 – ANÁLIA BOAVENTURA RAMOS GUERREIRO (INDEPENDENT), 56 years old, divorced, 2 children and 2 grandchildren, Direct Action Assistant at MAPS – Support Movement for the AIDS Problem – lives in Conceição de Faro, Faro.

5– EMÍLIO JOSÉ DA CONCEIÇÃO FERREIRA REBELO, 60 years old, married, 2 children, Economist and University lecturer at the University of Algarve, Master in Management, lives in Olhão.

6– LUÍS FILIPE MARTINS ALEXANDRE (INDEPENDENT), 61 years old, married, 2 daughters, businessman in the trade sector, lives in Faro, but with professional activity in Albufeira.
President of ACOSAL – Association of Merchants and Services of Albufeira, he is an essayist, with many works published in newspapers, columnist in the newspaper “Barlavento”, blogs, such as the “Faro Activo", and now published in books with the titles "Albufeira: from delirium to agony" and "Faro: the two-headed serpent ate the apples”. He recently won the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Literary Prize with the title “Da Mala de Cartão ao Canudo”.
7 – DALILA MARIA LEITE GONÇALVES BICA, 60 years old, married, 2 children and 1 granddaughter, housewife, lives in Vila Real de Santo António.

9 – JOÃO MARTINS VARELA SANCHO, 70 years old, single, pensioner, residing in Ilha da Armona, Olhão.
He was a member of the Lenin Committee, Central Committee of the MRPP. On April 23, 1975, he was arrested and sent to Santarém, where he spent a month, following a demonstration in Olhão against the illegalization of the MRPP.
