The playground of Escola EB 2,3 Poeta Bernardo Passos, in São Brás de Alportel is being renovated. The works began on August 20 and, according to the City Council, the playing field will be completely renovated “with the application of a new coating”, new markings, and the construction of a long jump field.
According to the municipality, «since the inauguration of that school, in 1993, the playing field has been subject to minor improvements», but «at this moment, the equipment needs a global intervention that allows the space to be equipped with the desired conditions for the practice of sport'.
The Câmara Sambrasense highlights that «this intervention represents another significant investment in this year, marked by the municipality's strong commitment to education, understood as the most important pillar in building the future».
