canoeing_alcoutim_1Athletes from Grupo Desportivo de Alcoutim (GDA) won three gold medals, two silver and three bronze in the National Canoeing Championship held this weekend, at the Crestuma dam.

The duo Edgar Rodrigues/Gustavo Madeira became national champion in K2 Minor Men, and Daniela Mestre also achieved a gold medal in K1 Infantil A Feminine.

In collective terms, and facing the great powers of national canoeing, the Alcoutim club secured 6th place, among 700 athletes representing fifty clubs.
