The City Council of São Brás de Alportel is going to invest close to 50 thousand euros in paving and repair works on the county's road networks. Work begins this week, in various locations in the county and should be completed by the end of September.
According to the municipality, the works that were awarded to the company Manuel António & Jorge Almeida – Construções, SA, for the value of €48.255,69, are intended to «guarantee a municipality with communication routes throughout its territory».
The planned interventions are aimed at paving several paths and recovering those that are in poor condition or have been affected by water leaks.
In a total of nearly 60 interventions, 1.400 meters of paths and roads will be paved and 500 m2 of the road network will be repaired.
