Algarve companies have seven new competitions for the presentation of investment projects, within the scope of the CRESC Algarve 2020 Incentive System.
In Research and Technological Development – Individual Projects (Notice No. 16/SI/2015), a competition was launched that prioritizes increasing business investment in R&I to promote knowledge-intensive economic activities and the creation of value based on innovation.
In the SME Qualification area (Notice No. 18/SI/2015), the competition aims to support SME qualification actions in immaterial domains, with the aim of promoting competitiveness and responsiveness in the global market.
In the area of Internationalization of SMEs, there is also a new competition (Notice nº 19/SI/2015).
Finally, there is also the competition in the area of Productive Innovation (Notice No. 20/SI/2015), which aims to increase business investment in innovative activities.
With regard to the Support Systems for Collective Actions (SIAC), the competitions aim to promote the improvement of the surrounding conditions for companies in the region, strengthening the internationalization of SMEs, increasing knowledge about the markets and promoting cooperation initiatives between company in the agri-food and tourism sector.
Of these notices, two are intended to support actions that promote the competitiveness of companies located in low-density territory.
