The exhibition of artistic works in recycled material by users of Associação Existir «In the eyes of the beholder, recycling is an illusion. In the hands of those who create, the future of the nation» will be on display between the 5th and 19th of June at the Municipal Library of Loulé. Admission is free.
This is one of the results of the action of the Existir's Occupational Activities Center, a social response that aims to provide the association's users, «people with moderately severe mental disabilities», with autonomy in activities of daily living.
For this, the center promotes various activities in the field of plastic expression, gardening, repair, arts and crafts and cafeteria, including the project to carry out manual work from various recyclable materials, the results of which will now be evident in Loulé.
The Existir Association is a private social solidarity institution whose objective is to support, intervene and respond to the needs of any disabled and disadvantaged citizen.
