The contract for the requalification of the Auction Building in the Fishing Port of Vila Real de Santo António has been completed, according to Docapesca's statement today. The work had an award value of around 189 thousand euros.
Among the interventions carried out are: the construction of an exterior shed to protect the fish exit openings, exterior and interior fences, new antechamber, new openings for fast-rolling gates, recovery and painting of wainscoting, freshwater nets and salt, solar installation for water heating and remodeling of electrical and ventilation installations.
According to Docapesca, "these investments aim at improving the conditions of Hygiene and Food Safety, improving the service provided to the sector, to shipowners/fishermen and traders".
