Military personnel from the Criminal Investigation Nucleus of the GNR's Territorial Detachment in Loulé seized, in the early afternoon of Friday, June 26, 25 pieces of hash, sufficient for 12160 individual doses, in the Pereiras area, in Quarteira.

The GNR began by suspecting “suspicious movements”, and ended up locating one of the suspected traffickers when he was traveling by car in the center of Quarteira.

The "behavior", "posture adopted" and even the "incoherence of statements" of the man, a 28-year-old Portuguese resident in Quarteira, "grew up the suspicions" of the authorities.

The GNR ended up discovering and seizing all the drugs, in other words, the 25 hash plates, which were kept in a house in Pereiras, which is “property of a friend” of the presumed drug dealer.

The man was constituted as an accused and interrogated in that capacity, the authorities add.
