Those interested in exhibiting at the handicraft show at the Al-Buhera Festival, which the Praça dos Pescadores in Albufeira will host from the 22nd to the 26th of July, must submit their applications until the 12th of June.
"The selection of artisans will be made based on criteria of genuineness and quality of the products, with the preferred factor being the holder of a Craftsman's Charter or a Charter of Artisan Productive Activity and performing live work," explained the City Council of Albufeira, in a press release .
Potential exhibitors can register in person at the Economic and Cultural Development Division of the Albufeira Chamber, on weekdays, between 9 am and 12 pm and 13 pm and 17 pm, or by email festival.al-buhera@ cm-albufeira.pt.
The handicraft exhibition is one of the valences of the Al-Buhera Festival, an event that brings together handicrafts, music and gastronomy, and a place where «visitors and tourists can buy genuine pieces that portray the culture and traditions of people in the southernmost part of the country» .
