The II ACES Barlavento Health Seminar, on the theme “Consolidate and Innovate – New Approaches for the Community”, takes place tomorrow, June 24, in the thermal village of Caldas de Monchique.
This meeting, organized by the ARS Barlavento Health Centers Group (ACES) and the Monchique City Council, has as its main objectives the dissemination of good practices, building bridges to the future and ensuring the continuous exchange of experiences and knowledge, having as an unavoidable premise in the context of primary health care, the Health/Community binomial.
In this seminar, topics such as the Family Nurse, the New Functional Unit for Diabetes of ACeS, the newly created Palliative Care Team of ACeS Barlavento (ECSCP), Child Mental Health in the context of Primary Health Care and community responses will be addressed also in Mental Health, Physical Activity, Patient Safety, Energy and Carbon Management and even Health and Wellness Tourism.
