Farenses Paulo Santos and Luís Santos won the Messines Sprint Rally, which will count towards the South Sprint Rally Trophy held last weekend, in São Bartolomeu de Messines.
The second position was guaranteed by the duo Eduardo Antunes and Hugo Bentes (Mitsubishi EVO VI), followed by Marco Ferreira and Edgar Gonçalves (Citroën Saxo Cup), who were in 3rd place.

After having achieved second place in the two-wheel drive in the inaugural round and last year having achieved second place overall in this rally and having won in the two-wheel drive, the pair took first place on the podium in the your Citroën Saxo Cup.
