Querença Market May 2015_PosterThe piri-piri will “warm up” the Querença Market, next Sunday. This ingredient inspires the monthly market in the Louletana village this May, which takes place between 10 am and 13 pm, at Largo da Igreja.

To celebrate this spicy delicacy, there will be a stand exclusively dedicated to it, where you can find “dry chili peppers, preserved, in sauce, biscuits and cakes, honey and pâtés”. As usual, there will also be stalls dedicated to agricultural, handicraft and local gastronomy products.

The «Piri-piri Workshop» is also part of the May want market program, where the story of this ingredient will be told, talking about its different varieties, as well as the potential benefits for health and how to cultivate and conserve them. , and “the universal method to measure its “degree of heat” will be disclosed”.

The Querença Market takes place on the last Sunday of each month, several times a year, and has the support of the Union of parishes of Querença, Tôr and Benafim, as well as the Municipality of Loulé.
