Centro Hospitalar do Algarve is associated with the activities integrated in the 2015 Euromelanoma campaign, carrying out, on the 20th of May, population surveys for skin cancer screening in hospitals in Faro and from Portimão.
Skin Cancer Day, an event dedicated to the awareness and screening of skin cancers, will thus be marked at CHAlgarve with 60 screenings, 30 in the unit. Faro and another 30 at the Portimão unit.
Promoted by CHAlgarve's Dermatology Service, the initiative is promoted at national level by the Portuguese Association of Skin Cancer, with the scientific sponsorship of the Portuguese Society of Dermatology and Venereology.
