The locality of Azilheira, in the municipality of Silves, will host a ball to commemorate World Neighbors Day, which is celebrated on May 23rd. The ball, scheduled for 20 pm, is organized by the Azilheira Senior Sports Group and will be animated by Madalena Roque.
According to the municipality, the first action carried out in this area, in the municipality of Silves, took place in 2009 in the Bairro da Caixa D`Água, in partnership with the Bairrismundo Project. The following year, the initiative took place in Fontes da Matosa and in Azilheira and has been maintained by a group of residents of this location.
