Almodôvar will host between May 15th and 17th the Almarte – International Festival of Arts on the Street. Herman Joseph, Virgin Suta, or Nilton are some of the names already confirmed for the event.
Miguel Camões, Ana Valada and humorists António Raminhos, Joana Madeira, Eduardo Madeira, Aldo Lima and Jorge Serafim will also be present at Almarte.
The Almodôvar local authority also highlights “the Mapping video project that will allow visitors to draw live, with a projection on the façade of the Convento da Conceição and the construction of a graffiti mural over the three days of the event, featuring one of the most prestigious national spray/graffiti artists, VILE».
The Almarte Festival takes place between the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Conceição and Praça da República, and will also have circus arts, magic, street theater, puppets, men statues, dances, streets, among other activities.
