Concerts by Áurea, Ana Moura and Pedro Abrunhosa plus a after hours with DJ Poppy make up the musical entertainment program of the first edition of the “Lagoa Wine Show”, which will take place on Easter weekend, between April 2nd and 4th, at the Centro de Congressos do Arade, in Parchal.
O "Lagoa Wine Show", one of the activities foreseen in the thematic cycle dedicated to wine and vines, will present one of the largest exhibitions/sales of wines in the south of the country, stresses the Câmara de Lagoa, bearing in mind that it is a council that is «one of the producers of high quality wines, with all kinds of regional, national and international awards, with their brands being sold all over the world».
The chosen date – the Easter season – intends to take advantage of the «thousands of people» who used to flock to the Algarve at that time.
The “Lagoa Wine Show” is organized by the Câmara de Lagoa in partnership with the Algarve Wine Route and will be a tribute to farmers, consumers and those who work for a region and a product that is one of the county's references.
The event will have more than 1.000 square meters of exhibition space, where producers from various wine regions will present their wines, along with regional flavors (cheese, sausages, oils, delicacies), and wine accessories. There will also be debates, lectures and entertainment.
