Director António-Pedro de Vasconcelos will come to Portimão, on Friday, February 20, at 15 pm, to speak about cinema and philosophy at the XVI Philosophy Conference at the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Secondary School, in this city.
The film director, author of, among other films, “Call Girl”, “Beauty and the Paparazzo” and “Os Gatos Não Tem Vertigens”, will explore the links between cinema and philosophy, in a communication that will have the curious title of "What Aristotle Said to John Ford."
The conference will take place in the auditorium of ES Manuel Teixeira Gomes and will have the usual sponsorship of the Pestana Alvor Praia Hotel. Admission is free.
