On January 27, the Mayor of Tavira Jorge Botelho begins, at the Luz de Tavira Parish Council, a cycle of assistance to the population in parishes in the municipality.
Similar meetings will be promoted in the Juntas de Cachopo, on February 25th, and in Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, on March 25th.
Decentralized service is open to all residents, but subject to prior appointment.
For this, those interested should go to the parish councils that host the meetings.
“By adopting this measure, the municipal executive's objective is to reach, essentially, the population that resides outside the city and that, many times, has no way of contacting the City Council in order to expose their affairs”, illustrated the Tavirense autarchy.
