Traffic, parking and water supply will be cut off on Avenida D. João VI, in Olhão, during the night of December 11th to 12th, due to work on the water network.
Car traffic will be banned between 22 pm and 23 am. The water supply will be interrupted between 8 pm and XNUMX am. The municipality of Olho mentions, however, that the intervention may "end before this period".
The works are under the responsibility of Ambiolhão – Municipal Environment Company of Olhão EM –, as the entity responsible for the water supply infrastructure of the Municipality of Olhão, which will carry out an intervention in the water network on the former EN125, in part of the section between the Ria Shopping and the Rotunda do Cubo, towards Faro – Tavira.
According to the Chamber of Olhão, "this intervention is justified by the need to improve the quality of service provided to consumers."
