Among the initiatives being prepared are an interactive exhibition on the theme, the intervention of specialists in the field, the parade and the performance of various choral groups.

Classified today by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Cante Alentejano «founds its roots in fieldwork, marking the identity of a region, the principles of its people, its backbone”, stresses the Ovibeja organization in a press release.

«In tune with the “corner of the earth”, Ovibeja builds and develops with respect to the purest rurality, based on the synergies generated by all those who participate in it. The great southern fair is the driving force behind the different dynamics that make up society, a fair that innovates in a constant appeal to active participation, the exercise of citizenship, the construction of added value resulting from all sectors of activity," he adds. .

"Ovibeja is a fair that is born in the land and develops in the city, affirming the different dynamics, whether in the agricultural and livestock sector, technological developments, scientific research, know-how and knowing how to be", concludes the organization of the event.
