RUA FM, Rádio Universitária do Algarve, celebrates its 12th anniversary today and will celebrate it with lots of music, cinema and party. Simultaneously, he challenged all Academy students to collaborate with “your RUA”.
During the day, RUA FM will be live at the Forum Algarve's FNAC, which opens its doors to the public for the first time, broadcasting the first ShowCase from the new store of Faro, with special emphasis on the presence of JP Simões, at 15:00 pm, and NOME, at 21:30 pm.
At 22 pm, RUA FM is a special guest of Shortcutz Faro (with the presentation of a short on radio), at Sociedade Recreativa Artística Farense – Os Artistas.
The rest of the night will be animated by the “Rua do MOFO” team, who, as they themselves refer, have “the sexiest, cutest and demented program on the national radio scene”.
A RUA FM – University Radio of the Algarve, a non-profit association, began broadcasting on July 26, 2003, and was born from the desire of a group of students from the University of Algarve to have a radio in the Algarve academy. It is an association owned by two partners: the University of Algarve and the Academic Association.
Music, culture, information, science, but also education and sport are the themes on which RUA has focused over these 12 years, privileging creative freedom and expression in the Academy and in the region.
