District FootballAlmancilense adds and continues in the District Championship of the Algarve Football Association. Almancil's team, in matchday 6, thrashed Imortal de Albufeira by 4-0 this Saturday and increased the distance to second-placed, Quarteira, to four points, benefiting from the second-place tie against Lagoa.

Moncarapachense, runners-up last season, is in third place. The team from the municipality of Olhão, went to Paderne to beat Padernense by 1-4.

O Faro and Benfica won the biggest rout of the round, beating Mexilhoeira Grande 7-0. Galinha was the man of the game by scoring a hat-trick.

The 6th round had a derby from Farense, with Culatrense receiving 11 Esperanças. The “visitors” – both teams share the same stadium – won by 0-1, with a penalty kick scored in the second half.
