November 2nd - Patxi Andion - DRSpaniard Patxi Andión will be at TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão, on Sunday, November 2, at 21:30 pm, for the third of a sequence of just six concerts across the country, to celebrate the release of “Cuatro Días de Mayo ”.

This edition is the first live disc (and DVD) by the Spanish singer and was recorded in Portugal, in concerts in Guarda and Figueira da Foz, in 2011. In the line-up is, for example, the ballad «Minh'Alma de Amor Sedenta », by the fado singer António dos Santos.

The record registers the very close relationship between Madrid and the Portuguese, a «meeting of sensibilities» that dates back to the 60s and that, for Andión, reached a high point «at the end of the concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of Associação 25 de Abril», recalling the show Vozes de Abril, which took place at the Lisbon Coliseum in April 2008.

Interestingly, the Spanish musician's first concert in Portugal took place on March 24, 1974, at the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon, a month before the military uprising that would lead to the fall of the dictatorship and a few days before the XNUMXst Meeting of Portuguese Song, of the Casa da Imprensa, who would challenge the regime with “Grândola, Vila Morena”.

The TEMPO program in November will also be composed of intervention, new rhythmic trends, fado and opera

The Spaniard has followed this entire phase of change both in Portugal and in Spain, even if the two countries are not as close in everything else, as they are in geography: «they are very different countries. The understanding between the two countries was never easy and I think it will never be. Only if the Spanish side begins to have true recognition of Portuguese virtues," said Andión in an interview with Cotonete TV website, adding that "Portuguese sensitivity is greater. It is very awake, very alive».

Patxi Andión's concert is scheduled for the Grand Auditorium, with tickets costing 20 euros.
