erasmus_2Every year, the University of the Algarve welcomes hundreds of international students from more than 50 nationalities. To help these students in their integration, the International Day will take place at 14:00 on September 17, at the Teresa Gamito Amphitheater (Building 1), on the Gambelas Campus, aimed at the entire academic community.

On this day, students of various nationalities will make known their countries and share some of their experiences. The prize will also be awarded to the best group of students who participated in the photo paper, held on September 5th, during the Orientation Week, who made them known Faro and the region.

The program also includes an exhibition, entitled “The University and the World”, with typical objects and posters made by students, scheduled to open at 17:30 pm, at the Gambelas Library.

UAlg receives, only in this 1st semester, students from nationalities such as: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Paraguay, Brazil, Peru, Philippines, Mexico, Serbia, India, Germany, Pakistan, Guatemala, USA, Netherlands , Turkey, Latvia, France, Ecuador, China, Bangladesh, Spain, Ethiopia, Portugal, Cyprus, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Finland, Cameroon, Nepal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Malaysia, Rwanda, Egypt, Qatar, Norway, Argentina, Kenya , Fiji, Cape Verde, Angola, Colombia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Czech Republic, Greece, Poland, Italy, Denmark and the United Kingdom.
