The Municipality of Portimão and Portimonense Sporting Clube have established a collaboration protocol, aiming to preserve and display the collection of the collectivity's trophies, as a representative cultural heritage of the local community.
The main objective of this partnership is the promotion and dissemination of the sporting history of the municipality through the collection and collection of medals, cups and other pieces of Portimonense, which will be the target of good conservation and restoration practices by the technical team of the Portimão Museum, and which may be temporarily ceded for exhibitions.
Founded on August 14, 1914, Portimonense Sporting Clube is this year celebrating its first centenary, having won a series of national and regional trophies throughout its rich history.
