Three men were arrested for drug trafficking, following an operation carried out by the GNR in a house in the town of Algoz, in the municipality of Silves, this Monday.
On the property, where a greenhouse was installed, eight plants and 54 grams of dried cannabis leaves were found.
The operation, carried out by the Criminal Investigation Nucleus of the Territorial Detachment of the GNR in Silves, was being prepared for about six months. In addition to the cannabis plants and leaves, seeds of this plant, a digital scale and two mobile phones were also seized.
The greenhouse found, believes the GNR, would serve to carry out the cultivation of cannabis plants. This is the sixth seizure of this plant that the GNR has carried out, in the Algarve, since the beginning of the year.
