A concert by a chamber music group from the Orquestra Clássica do Sul will take place at the Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe (Raposeira, Vila do Bispo), tomorrow, May 9, at 17 pm, with free admission.
This is the first edition of the concerts, which will last from May 9th to December 6th, in different emblematic monuments of the Algarve's historical, architectural and archaeological heritage, and which will be preceded by a preliminary presentation of the historical heritage that is the setting of the cultural moment, thus associating the architectural or archaeological heritage with music.
The chamber music cycle is an initiative of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, jointly organized with the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, as part of the DiVaM – Dynamization and Valorization of Monuments program.
The chamber ensemble will comprise Stefania Bernardi (flute), Eun-Hee Sohn (oboe), Rui Travasso (clarinet), Sarah Ruiz (bassoon) and Thomas Gomes (horn).
The pieces to be presented will be by composers by Franz Danzi, Charles Lefebvre and Giuseppe M.Cambini.
