EMPET – Parques Empresarias de Tavira, in collaboration with the Prodetur Society of the Seville Deputation for the Promotion of Economic Development and Tourism, promote the II Business Meeting Luso-Andaluz, scheduled for December 4, at the Hotel Vila Galé Tavira.
This initiative aims to provide a meeting between Portuguese and Spanish entrepreneurs, in order to foster collaboration between companies, leveraging the advantages of geographical proximity.
Another objective is to promote the increase of efficiency and competitiveness of these SMEs, through the achievement of commercial contacts and their opening to the market, and also to strengthen the Sevillian and Portuguese business fabric, supporting their visibility outside their national and local spheres.
The meeting, aimed particularly at SMEs in Andalusia and Portugal, will be implemented under the format of SpeedNetworking by Sectors: Agroindustrial, New Technologies, Energy-Construction and Tourism.
This initiative is promoted by Prodetur in collaboration with EMPET – Parques Empresariais de Tavira, the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Seville and the Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal (AICEP Portugal Global).
EMPET was created in December 2002 and its mission is to create an active city with great interactivity with its surroundings, at a local, national and international level, as well as to introduce an active pulse in the city, an activating factor for business and cultural development and economic and visibility of the region.
Bylaws have as its first objective the promotion and execution of infrastructure works in two subdivisions of a business nature, whose creation initiative was due to the Municipality of Tavira.
In these Business Parks, thematic Fairs and Exhibitions should be installed in one, and in another, the installation of companies, primarily from the sectors of the economy of the Sea, Agro-industry and Tourism.
