The functions of the president and each of the councilors of the Alcoutim Chamber were already assigned last Monday, during the first meeting of the executive, now led by Osvaldo Gonçalves, elected by the PS. The new mayor calls itself the portfolios linked to the financial and legal sector of the autarchy.

Osvaldo Gonçalves is responsible for the Human Resources, Presidency Support Office, Private Notary, Security and Civil Protection, International Relations, Parishes, Safety and Hygiene at Work, Finance, Treasury, Public Service Management, General Expedient Service and Archive departments , Accounting, Financial and Property Management, Community Support and Local Development, Education, Health and Social Action, Inspection and Administrative and Legal Litigation.

The vice president of the municipality will be the socialist Paulo Paulino, who will be responsible for Municipal Works, Housing and Urban Planning, Municipal Equipment and Facilities, Spatial Planning and Geographic Information Systems, Social Communication and Public Relations, Culture and Tourism, Defense Consumer Affairs, Youth, Sports and Leisure, Car Park, Strategic Planning, Historical and Cultural Heritage, Archeology and Museology, Historical and Documentary Archive/Municipal Library, Information Technology and Telecommunications, Investor and Trade Support Office.

The third socialist councilor, José Galrito, assumes responsibility for the areas of Transport, Works by Direct Administration, Forestry, Agriculture and Fisheries, Environment, Hunting Council, Energy, Green Spaces, Health and Sanitation, Water Supply, Toponymy, Traffic and Safety Road, Communication, Mobility, Markets and Fairs, Occupation of Public Roads, Advertising, Street Sales, Fees and Permits, Cemeteries, Hygiene and Cleaning, Food and Animal Health.

The two councilors elected by the PSD, José Carlos Pereira and Dalila Barros, do not have any roles assigned.
