The University of Algarve (UAlg) will dedicate tomorrow afternoon, Friday, to the discovery of the many cultures that it embraces. The «International Day» is aimed at the entire academic community, although the protagonists are the institution's students from more than 60 countries.
On this day, students of various nationalities will make small presentations, starting at 14:30 pm, at the Teresa Gamito Amphitheater, located on the UAlg Campus of Gambelas, making known their countries and sharing experiences.
The program also includes an exhibition, "The University and the World", of typical objects and posters made by students, which will open at 17:30 pm, at the Gambelas Library, and will be open to the public until October 11th.
The International Relations and Mobility Office (GRIM) had already welcomed the international students to a week of integration, which took place from 2 to 7 September, where sessions on the Portuguese language and culture were organized and several visits to get to know them. the region.
