This afternoon, between 14 pm and 30 pm, the University of Algarve (UAlg) will host a workshop on «Market Repositioning», which will be led by the Managing Partner of Ahnfelt Consultores Henrique Ahnfelt.

The initiative, which will take place in the Hall of Acts of the Faculty of Economics, on the UAlg Campus of Gambelas, will mark the beginning of a series of workshops, aimed at promoting a culture of innovation, which encourages companies in the region to create new ones products and services framed in its development strategies.

Organized by CRIA – Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the University of Algarve, the cycle of four workshops is part of the European project «WIDER – Sustainable Growth of SMEs», which focuses on innovation and development of “green” energy solutions in the Mediterranean area.

As for this afternoon's workshop, “it will be a collaborative and interactive work session, in which participants will be led to revisit their business to identify new opportunities in new markets”.

«The session will combine thematic presentations (to transmit knowledge and experiences about strategy, innovation and markets), with group work sessions, and individual and company reflection sessions», revealed CRIA.

Whoever participates in the workshop should gain several skills, namely «knowledge about the basic key factors needed to evolve your company towards new opportunities and new markets», as well as «a set of tools to structure your ideas».

The session will also include a “reflection on potential innovation opportunities and potential markets, in the context of an existing company or with an autonomous strategy”. Registration is limited and interested parties should access the CRIA website if you want to reserve your place.
